St. Cloud, Florida · EST. one engineer, two channels
By day I design FPGA logic and DSP datapaths — pipelines, filters, and state machines that have to close timing. The rest of my cycles go to the wood shop, the jiu-jitsu mats, and three acres of chickens, gardens, and half-finished ideas. This site crosses between the two domains. Safely. With synchronizers.
FPGA logic design and DSP — parallel datapaths, filters and NCOs, state machines, and high-rate data movement, applied to aerospace & defense signal systems. Résumé, selected projects, and publications, including a master's thesis that turned a radio-astronomy FPGA board into a GPS signal generator.
OPEN CHANNEL 1 → CH 2 · PERSONALBuild logs from the wood shop, notes from the jiu-jitsu mats, the ongoing campaign to keep chickens alive and tomatoes upright, projects for the kids, and the occasional bench-top electronics experiment.
OPEN CHANNEL 2 →Four boards, eleven clamps, and a tense twenty minutes of open time. Progress shots and what I'd do differently.
READ BUILD LOG →Notes on grip fighting, gas-tank management, and why drilling escapes beats drilling submissions.
READ POST →Drip lines, a timer, and a rain sensor — because an engineer's garden should water itself.
